Abstract

The small classes1 at tertiary level enhance student-teachers’ interaction and provide a richer learning environment. Teamwork, interaction with classmates, projects and analysis of case studies are the key learning tools in many tertiary level courses. The small and diverged classes allow personalized attention as students learn different theories as well as their applications on pragmatic decision making. Our study therefore, reveals the reality on the basis of existing literature and questionnaire survey that small class size has a significant impact on the quality of education by enriching the performance of the students.
