Social Factors Affect Language Teaching (LT) and Language Learning (LL): A Sociolinguistic Perspective

Language teaching and language learning are connected with Sociolinguistics in many ways. Different social factors affect language teaching and language learning. This article examines some social factors like situation, context, and social setting that affect language teaching and language learning based on literature review. This paper describes the main factors which influence linguistic choices and explains how well contemporary teaching can take account of them. It also investigates obvious variations in the use of language used by people belonging to varieties of occupations.
